The QUERCUS PARKET sawmill represents a fully operational industrial platform positioned at the intersection of premium raw material sourcing and European export logistics.
Established in 1997 and continuously developed over decades, the facility combines scale, operational stability, and strategic location—forming a strong foundation for long-term value creation within the hardwood and veneer supply chain. Today, the complex supports both traditional lumber production and veneer-oriented processing, with the flexibility to further integrate higher value-added manufacturing.
The facility is located within one of Europe’s most important hardwood corridors: • ~1 hour from the Morović forest (Serbia), a key source of high-grade Slavonian oak • Immediate access to the Spačva Basin (Croatia), the largest continuous oak forest in Europe • 45 minutes from Belgrade city center • 35 minutes from Belgrade International Airport • 10 minutes from major European highway corridors (E-70, E-75) • 5 minutes from Inđija customs and container terminal This positioning ensures optimized procurement, efficient outbound logistics, and direct connectivity to EU and overseas markets.
Operational Performance The sawmill operates as a stable and proven industrial business with: • Approx. €16.5 million annual turnover • Approx. €2 million annual profit • ~100 employees • ~8,000 m² production facilities • ~36,000 m² total land footprint • ~20,000 m³ of fully concreted yard capacity, enabling efficient log storage, handling, and high-volume throughput The operation is structured for continuous output and demonstrates strong historical performance, with the capacity to scale further under optimized capital deployment.
The facility is equipped with durable, high-capacity European machinery:
Artiglio 1400 vertical bandsaw with log carriage (2003)
Primultini 1300 bandsaw with dedicated log carrier (1997)
Mercedes-Benz Actros truck with high-capacity log crane (2001)
This equipment base supports efficient primary processing with reliable throughput and low operational risk.
A critical competitive advantage lies in secured sourcing:
Long-term supply contract with JP Vojvodinašume
Access to FSC-certified oak logs (veneer and sawlog quality)
Established supplier network across Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Croatia
All sourcing operates under full compliance with:
• EUTR
• EUDR
• US Lacey Act
This ensures regulatory security, traceability, and uninterrupted access to premium hardwood inputs.
The site offers significant opportunities for further development:
Expansion of kiln drying capacity
Integration of veneer and wear layer production
Development of higher-margin engineered wood products
Optimization of processing efficiency and throughput

The sawmill functions as a vertically integrated industrial base within the QUERCUS PARKET ecosystem—linking raw material procurement, processing, and international distribution.
With nearly three decades of operational history, established supplier relationships, and a strong reputation across the regional timber industry, the platform offers a unique combination of stability, scalability, and market access.
Available land and existing infrastructure enable rapid scaling without the need for greenfield relocation.
